IT’S JUST A PRAYER AWAY!
When life halts with challenges, risking every day,
Failure knocking at our door and hope flown away;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine strength is just a prayer away.
When sickness and disease their effect display,
Hope seems to be darkened and life without a ray;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine healing is just a prayer away.
When money disappears, dreams dwindle and sway,
Life begins to tremble, and life-less we lay;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine provision is just a prayer away.
When trust is broken, heart becomes a prey,
Depression settles in, and peace doesn’t stay;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine embrace is just a prayer away.
When future is bleak and emptiness bray,
Aimless we live and hopeless we say;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine guidance is just a prayer away.
When loneliness creeps in, alone we stay,
Emotionally drowned and burdened we lay;
When one is wondering what can be done,
Divine presence is just a prayer away.
After all that you have done, and yet you cannot fully pray,
We should never forget that we are nothing but clay;
And if you are wondering how we can ever pray,
Jesus said, “I am the truth, the life and the way!”
